Quieting the mind, resting your body, calming the breath and thinking of nothing sounds to most— near impossible. Prior to accepting and adopting a meditation practice of my own, I knew it would be challenging.
Did you know more than 60,000 thoughts run through your head every single day? What busy minds we have. Are you always clear on what you’re thinking? It may be you don’t even know what you’re thinking about during given times throughout your day. Meditation draws us closer to clarity.
Each morning, I commence with quiet and alone time. No distractions. I read my devotional and this allows me to set the precedence for my day. I focus on all things positive. I create a positive flow of thoughts that will benefit my professional and personal day.
It comes without saying that meditation can help improve your lifestyle in a plethora of ways. It’s important to keep in mind that there isn’t a perfect way to meditate. It’s your personal time. However, the goal is to help you achieve the following.

The consistency of anything and one will reap the rewards. Even you feel as though you don’t know what you’re doing… it’s ok. Start with five minutes a day. Solitude and free from devices. Find a slow and steady breath and relax.
